Court of Justice of the European Union questions consistency of the French gambling law

EGBA, the European Gaming & Betting Association has issued a press release on a ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) questioning the consistency of a French gambling law that would justify the state monopoly of gambling without proving gambling related problems actually exist and a particularly high level of consumer protection is granted by the monopoly.
